Gorgie Road, Old Dalkeith Road and North Junction Street affected by roadworks from today

Roadworks will be starting on three busy Edinburgh roads this morning.

Gorgie Road traffic will be disrupted at Murieston Lane from 9.30am today (Monday) while Scottish Water sewer works take place. A contraflow will be in operation and this is expected to last until 4pm on 26 July.

North Junction Street (A901) in Leith will see three way temporary traffic lights introduced at Ferry Road. This is so SGN can remove redundant pipework in the area. Coburg Street will also be closed for the duration.

These works are also expected to start at 9.30am and they are scheduled to continue until 4pm on 27 July.

A contraflow will be in operation on Old Dalkeith Road (A7) between Cameron Toll Gardens and the Cameron Toll roundabout for Cityfibre cabling duct works. This will last for most of the week – running from 9.30am today until 4pm on Saturday.
