Gorgeous lost pup found wandering streets at midnight as cops search for owner

A beautiful dog has been found by police in Clydebank as they launch a search for his owner.

The pup was found alone on Windsor Crescent around midnight and was taken to Dumbarton police station where he is currently being looked after.

Officers have launched an appeal to get him home and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Sharing a photo of the dog on Facebook, the Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Police Division said: "We are looking to trace the owner of the below dog who was found on Windsor Crescent about midnight last night.

"He is currently being cared for within Dumbarton Police Station.

"Anyone with information should call Dumbarton Police Station on 101."
