Budget supermarket Aldi has shoppers obsessed with its latest SpecialBuy item, which customers say “looks more expensive than it is”.
Aldi’s post-Christmas SpecialBuys include everything from gym equipment to clothing, but the one item standing out is its Kirkton House Blue Velvet Chair, priced at £59.99.
The chair, which is available online only, is covered in blue velvet and has black legs. According to the product description, the chair will “add a touch of glamour to your home”.
The Kirkton House chair has already received almost 50 five star reviews, with many praising it for looking more expensive than its £60 price tag.
On Aldi’s website, one shopper wrote: “Beautiful chair, excellent value. Looks and feels a lot more expensive than it was.”
Another said: “Looks expensive and looks lovely in the lounge. Gorgeous colour”.
A third pleased shopper added: “My velvet chair is absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. The blue colour is gorgeous and it looks very high quality. Assembly was very easy and straightforward. Would definitely buy again.”
