Bargain retailer The Range has sent shoppers wild for its new homeware product after it was shared online.
The Range took to its Instagram feed this week to share photos of its upcoming gonk collection and it has gained a big reaction from fans.
Gonks were originally a novelty toy and collectable, and soared in popularity during Christmas 2020, with shoppers desperate to collect the gnome-like figures.
Alongside a photo of its new grey and white gonks, The Range claims gonks aren’t “just for Christmas”.

The post attracted thousands of shoppers, with many claiming they “need” the new gonks.
The Range stores remain open during lockdown with shoppers allowed to visit when needing to stock up on essential purchases such as food and medicine. Non-essential purchases can also be made during these visits.
Among the comments beneath the post, one shopper wrote: “omg they are so cute!! NEED”.
A second said: “Yes, brilliant!! I need a doorstop for my craftroom so definitely need this. My gonks are out allllll year round so he'll fit in very nicely”.
Another added: “A Gonk is for life... not just for Christmas”.
