With the weather picking up a little, it’s nice to have some light at the end of what feels like a very long Coronavirus tunnel. Still, whilst we’re stuck inside - let’s not forget our other favourite season is finally here - gin season.
Gordon’s, the UK’s best selling gin brand, has added a new Mediterranean Orange flavour to the collection but only for a limited time.
It’s available now from some selected convenience stores including Londis chains, but from the 26th May it will be on sale online and in-store at Tesco for £16.50.
The new gin has a zesty orange taste, expertly made by pairing the classic taste of Gordon's with delicious Mediterranean oranges.
It boasts fresh orange notes that perfectly complement the juniper and refreshing taste of Gordon’s, creating a delicious G&T alternative for the summer. We’ll be knocking a few of these back from the comfort of our sofa.
The drinks-maker suggests it is best served with ice cubes, a 50ml measure of Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Distilled Gin and topped with 150ml of tonic. Add a wedge of orange and a sprig of fresh rosemary (if you have some handy) into the glass, then give it all a final stir. Delish.
Obviously these measures can be altered slightly but just because you’re safe indoors, we still encourage you to drink responsibly.
Earlier this year, Gordon’s brought out the ever-so scrummy Sicilian Lemon flavoured Distilled Gin and not forgetting the Premium Pink Distilled gin from 2019.
Both of these flavours are out now at Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Amazon for £14 and Asda for £13.
We’ve also found all the websites that are delivering alcohol during Coronavirus, ranging from spirits and wines to beer, champagne and prosecco. So you can make sure you’ll well stocked for the bank holiday weekend.
Or want to go all out? Then treat yourself and housemates to a five litre keg of Pornstar Martini, Gin Garden or Espresso Martini from Amazon.
