Gordon Ramsay unveils incredible glass wall swimming pool at Cornish holiday home

Gordon Ramsay is currently renovating one of his flashy Cornish properties.

The TV chef, 53, brought the plot in 2015 for a staggering £4.4 million and decided to knock down the original 1920s property to build a new luxe pad - including a second property in the garden.

And this week, the outspoken personality shared a snap of the incredible new glass wall swimming pool that has been built on the plot.

The epic open air swimming pool stands on the edge of the cliff top building and features Instagram - worthy views.

Showing off the enviable development, he posed with little son Oscar and captioned the snap: "Off for an evening walk with @oscarjramsay."

The chef got his hands on the planning permission to knock down the old house and replace it with a family home and a smaller neighbouring house last July.

It took him eight months to win the battle.

Gordon has three Cornwall holiday homes which amount to £11million.

His family retreated to their £4million beachside mansion as they isolated amid the COVID-19 pandemic - which angered many locals.

The celebrity chef has been at war with residents in the county after fleeing to his second home there at the start of lockdown.

He faced claims he'd broken the rules on several occasions, and reportedly received a warning from local officials after racing around the region on his bike.

He also came under fire for revealing he'd cycled more than 26 miles around Cornwall.

He was reportedly given a warning by staff at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency amid reports he'd broken lockdown rules by straying so far from his £4 million mansion.

A source at the organisation told the Daily Mail: "We have reports of him being seen in dozens of different places since lockdown started.

"He does not seem to be obeying the rules regarding social distancing, exercise and staying at home...

"One of our staff spoke to him about the frequency with which he was being seen out and about, and the significant distances.

"After a period of reflection, he seemed to calm himself and took on board what was being conveyed in a most polite manner."
