Gordon Ramsay stuns restaurant staff with brilliant undercover disguise

Gordon Ramsay stunned restaurant staff and guests when he went undercover for his new TV series.

The 53-year-old celebrity chef transformed into an old, bearded, wheelchair bound man to judge a failing restaurant for his show 24 Hours to Hell and Back .

His disguise fooled staff at Lowery's Seafood Tappahannock, Virginia.

The fiery Scot slated the restaurant over the 'terrible meal' he was served branding it a 'dreadful experience'.

In the explosive episode Gordon found two brothers at loggerheads over who was in charge.

On entering the restaurant, Gordon said the interior was dated, describing the colour scheme as being from '1938', before saying there was a strong fishy smell.

Show 24 Hours to Hell and Back sees Gordon sent to failing restaurants in his “Hell on Wheels” van that unfolds into a high-tech kitchen.

He then uses the truck to retrain chefs at the restaurants they visit.
