Gordon Ramsay slammed after furious diner's sticky toffee pudding comes with 'gravy'

Gordon Ramsay's self-proclaimed 'perfect' sticky toffee pudding is being slammed for coming with 'gravy'.

If it's not the price of his tiny steak and chips and 'preselected' cheese board, or the child-sized roast dinner, it's the sauce on his sticky toffee pudding that's taking a hammering.

The 53-year-old TV chef took to Twitter to show off the £7.75 "pre-flight perfection" which is served at Plane Food in Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5, reports Daily Star.

The mouthwatering video shows a generous amount of toffee being drizzled over a large piece of cake but fans couldn't help but point out the questionable consistency of the sauce.

Many people compared the consistency of the "mystery liquid" to gravy, whilst the chocolate cake was likened to meatloaf and the ice-cream to mashed potato - not a good response all round.

One said: "Why are you pouring thin gravy on that cake. Chocolate might be better?"

Another said: "Gravy, cake and mashed potato?"

A third said: "For the first time ever Mr. Ramsay. I gotta say this looks nasty."

"I haven't a clue what it is that you are drowning in that mystery liquid" wrote another.

And: "I thought this was meatloaf and gravy with a scoop of mashed potatoes" added a fifth.

Mirror Online has reached out for a comment.

Previously Gordon was criticised by fans for a fry-up which was due to join the menu at one of his restaurants.

He proudly shared "the most amazing Full English" which cost £19 for two eggs, one sausage, a few strips of bacon, one tomato and one mushroom with his 7.4 million followers on Twitter - which is now available to order from his Savoy Grill restaurant menu.

But after a customer slammed the size of the dish, and compared it to a hefty portion made by the 'Fry Up Police', he was forced to reply with one of his most brutal and classic insults of all time.

The customer wrote: "THIS is a full English Gordon. Take a leaf out of @fryuppolice 's book...." and Gordon replied: "That’s called a Full English Classic Heart Attack you idiot sandwich".
