Telly chef Gordon Ramsay shocked his twenty two million TikTok followers by telling them: "I'm turning vegan."
Gordon decided to also share a dish of a vegan steak with his fans on Tik Tok as he delighted in using aubergine instead of beef and telling them he was even using vegan butter.
Gordon said: "Hi guys it’s Gordon. I’ve got a confession. After three decades of cooking, hundreds and hundreds and thousands of hours behind the stove, I’m turning vegan."
He takes his seasoning and says: "Sprinkle, toss" then his aubergine which he chars, seasons, and adds oil to.
Gordon then reduces some red wine, adds some melted vegan butter, bastes the aubergine and plates it up over some mash.
He then seasons it, adds garnish then sauce, and more garnish.
Gordon then shows off a very convincing and appetising looking steak .
He then says: "Vegan steak dinner happily done."
At the end of the video, the fiesty Scot reveals that he went vegan 'for lunch, only'.
Gordon also had a pop at 'That Vegan Teacher' who was banned from TikTok after she forcefully shamed people into adopting veganism, despite the diet not always being 'the best option' medically or financially for some.
He wrote: "That Vegan Teacher where are yo——oh wait"
Fans were thrilled by his revelation that he was only going vegan short term, and others loved his dig at That Vegan Teacher.
One said: "Thank god he said for lunch."
Another added: "Gordon really out here getting the last laugh."
