- Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has shared his tips for making the perfect burger as he launches an £11 wagyu beef option with Burger King UK.
- Ramsay did not create the new burger, but is endorsing it and will feature in its TV advertisements.
- The burger, available for a limited time from 9 September, is made with British wagyu beef, caramelised onion mayo, rocket, and a trio of onions.
- Ramsay said the secret to a great burger is to let the meat rest for 10 minutes before seasoning it and putting it in the pan with a drizzle of oil.
- It should be flipped once and lightly pressed to caramelise the outside, before letting it rest again for about four minutes and serving on a toasted bun.
