Gordon Ramsay's son Oscar follows in his footsteps as toddler joins him in the kitchen

Gordon Ramsay handed over the kitchen duties to his baby son Oscar at their lavish Cornwall home.

The 53-year-old celebrity chef revealed that his baby son, one, could be following in his culinary footsteps in an adorable social media post.

Sharing the snap on Instagram, Gordon's son melted hearts as he played with his miniature kitchen.

In the picture Oscar gripped a tiny kettle and looked over at the camera from his child-sized kitchen top.

As well as a wall full of utensils, the cooking set included an oven, a hob and lots of important items such as a whisk.

"Cuppa Tea anyone! @oscarjramsay is in the kitchen," Gordon wrote alongside the beautiful pic.

Since Gordon unveiled the photograph, a number of fans have written to tell the chef how much of a resemblance there is with his youngest son.

"More Gordon, than Gordon himself," wrote one fan.

"Oh no already in the kitchen following in daddy’s footsteps," wrote another.

A third said: "He has your hair."

Gordon has been with his wife Tana and five kids - Matilda, Jack, Megan, Holly and Oscar - at their £4million Cornwall seaside abode.

Megan recently celebrated her 22nd birthday while in lockdown.

Since taking up residence at the lavish home before quarantine measures were imposed, the family have caused somewhat of a stir with their neighbours.

According to reports, Gordon was spotted taking bike trips and shopping at various local shops despite quarantine measures.

The television chef was also given a warning by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for 'flouting the rules'.

Despite earlier criticism from Cornish locals, Gordon has been documenting his bank holiday weekend on social media.

Today he even shared some adorable clips as he rolled around in a field with their puppy Truffles.
