Gordon Ramsay's lookalike son is training to be a Royal Marine

Scots chef Gordon Ramsay’s lookalike son Jack is training to be a Royal Marine.

The 20-year-old began the gruelling 32-week course late last year.

If he manages to complete the training, he could be wearing the prestigious green beret by autumn.

Despite his dad’s £200million fortune, Jack is raking in £18,000 a year as a recruit.

A source at the Royal Marines’ Commando Training Centre at Lympstone, Devon, said Jack was “getting his head down and delivering the goods so far”.

He added: “He seems fit and is well liked. Not surprisingly, there’s a lot of good-natured banter when Jack and his mates sit down to eat about who should prepare the rations”.

A pal of Brooklyn Beckham, Jack has had his heart set on joining the elite force for years.

In 2016, TV chef Ramsay, 53, said: “He is obsessed with Bear Grylls and the Marines, and going in and becoming an officer.

“That is a real job.”
