Gordon Ramsay’s daughter sparks Love Island rumours she could be joining show

Gordon Ramsay’s daughter has dropped hints about entering the Love Island villa after she followed new contestant Hugo Hammond on Instagram

Ramsay's other daughter Holly, 21, was rumoured to be part of the 2021 line-up but was not included in the announcement yesterday.

Holly Ramsay shut down rumours in an Instagram story that said: “Thanks for all the lovely messages but no, I'm definitely not appearing on Love Island.”

However Holly's big sister Megan, 23, reignited the possibility of one of the Ramsay sisters making an appearance after following England disability cricketer and new islander, Hugo Hammond on Instagram.

Although the full list of contestants has already been announced, there is still a chance Megan could enter the villa as a surprise bombshell islander.

Hugo, 24, is a PE teacher from Hampshire and is Love Island's first ever physically disabled contestant.

He has previously played cricket for England PD, the national physical disability cricket team.

After being single for a while, and finding it hard to get back into dating under Covid-19 restrictions , P.E teacher and cricketer Hugo is hoping to use his time in the Love Island villa to turn his luck around.

He said: “I saw it as an opportunity to have an amazing fun summer and put myself back out there.”

The sporty singleton is the show’s first ever physically disabled contestant.

Explaining his condition, he said: “I was born with clubfoot. I had lots of operations when I was a kid. You can only really tell when I walk barefoot. I’ve got a really short achilles heel. I walk slightly on my tip toes.”

Despite being born with clubfoot, Hugo has gone on to have a successful sporting career, playing cricket for England PD (Physical Disability).

When he isn’t travelling all over the world to play cricket with his team, Hugo teaches secondary school students P.E, a job he says he “absolutely love[s]”.

“I love all my sports. It’s been great to be able to pass on that enthusiasm to be physically active to the younger generation and hopefully they feel the same about me teaching them.”

*Love Island starts at 9pm on Monday 28th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
