Gordon Ramsay's £10 'colostomy bag' choc pud 'worst thing to happen this year'

Gordon Ramsay's self-proclaimed 'beautiful' chocolate tofu sparked a debate online for being the 'most unappetising dessert ever'.

If it's not the price of his tiny steak and chips and 'preselected' cheese board, or the child-sized roast dinner, it's his chocolate pud that's angering fans.

The 53-year-old TV chef took to Facebook to share how his "signature" £10 chocolate tofu is made at his swanky Mayfair restaurant Lucky Cat.

Beside the video he wrote: "The signature chocolate tofu at Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay.... absolutely beautiful!!"

But the dish divided opinions. Whilst some fans thought it probably "tastes delicious" others weren't so sure, and said it looked like a 'colostomy bag'.

Since being posted it has received over 26,000 reactions and almost 5,000 comments from baffled fans.

One said: "I think 2020 has done something to Gordon Ramsay..... are you ok? That looks like a dogs chew toy on a pile of dirt. I'm sure it tastes good, but your claim of 'absolutely beautiful' I think not."

Another said: "That dessert is so ******, it is the worst thing to happen this year."

A third compared the dessert to his grandpa's colostomy bag.

And: "Oh my! Perhaps the most unappetizing and unappealing dessert ever. First the poop in the middle, then covered by a layer of what looks like fat, and topped with a piece of pork crackling" said a fourth.

However, a number of fans agreed: "It looked great until you stuck that 'thing' on at the end" - referring to the "brown sheet" on the top.

Another said: "He covered the beautiful part! I'm sure it tastes delicious but the white stuff and the brown sheet do not look appetizing."

A third said: "Looks amazing, beautifully presented. That's made me hungry!"

And: "Not really a looker but I'm sure it tastes amazing" said another.

Mirror Online has reached out for a comment.

This comes after Gordon's sticky toffee pudding was criticised for being served with 'gravy'.

Gordon took to Twitter to show off the £7.75 "pre-flight perfection" which is served at Plane Food in Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 in a mouthwatering video.

It shows a generous amount of toffee being drizzled over a large piece of cake but fans questioned the odd consistency.

Many people said the "mystery liquid" looked like gravy, whilst the chocolate cake was likened to meatloaf and the ice-cream to mashed potato - not a good response all round.
