Gordon Ramsay was left overwhelmed with pride as he reflected on his daughter Tilly's journey on Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV chef took to Instagram on Sunday night to pay tribute to his "polite and humble" daughter as he thanked her and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin for making him "happy".
Gordon was there to cheer Tilly on as she competed in the dance-off on tonight's show, and whilst she didn't make it through and narrowly missed out on a quarter final place, it didn't stop Gordon from being incredibly proud of her.
"Words can’t describe I proud I am of these 2, hard working polite humble and incredibly down to earth," he wrote on social media.
"Most of all well done and what a celebration of youth and how happy it makes me feel the future is bright and you 2 will continue to shine lots of love dad @tillyramsay @nikita__kuzmin @bbcstrictly."
Tilly exited the show on Sunday night after losing in the dance-off to Rhys Stephenson, but she explained how her journey on the show had been so "extraordinary" as she gave her farewell speech.
She said: "I’d just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made this an amazing, positive journey for me.
"From everyone here to backstage, wardrobe, make up and camera crew. It’s just been the most extraordinary time. I found out something about myself that I didn’t know I could do, I didn’t know I could dance and have fun like this.
"So a massive thank you and, obviously, a huge thank you to Nikita who has guided me out of my shell and has just made this the most amazing experience."
Nikita was nearly in tears as he thanked Tilly for being an amazing dance partner.
He added: "I’m the most emotional person so I hope I don’t cry. I’m just grateful for everything, for the whole Strictly team, for the production team, for the costume, for the make-up, for everything.
"Thank you guys, thank you to the professionals and cast, and a huge, huge thank you to Tilly."
Gordon was left in tears after Tilly's exit and he could be seen wiping his eyes in the audience.
