Gordon Ramsay needs aspiring hospitality entrepreneurs in Edinburgh for new BBC show

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has put a call out to aspiring entrepreneurs hoping to succeed in the hospitality industry to star in his new BBC show.

The talented, albeit slightly terrifying, chef made his mark on TV with Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, which first aired back in 2014.

Fast forward six years and the star is no longer swearing at misguided business owners, most recently appearing alongside Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix on ITV's Road Trip.

However, it seems he is returning to his roots with a new eight-part BBC 1 show called Ramsay’s Future Food Stars that will see 12 British candidates go head-to-head.

Dubbed a culinary version of the Apprentice, he is searching for the "country's most exciting and innovative new food and drink entrepreneurs", reports Coventry Live.

In a video urging people to apply, Gordon said: "If you think you've got the next big, bold and exciting food or drink business idea then Studio Ramsay would like to hear from you.

"Why? Because I'm investing my time and my money to take the next product, app, food truck or something completely new to the next level and you don't even need to be a chef.

"You're business may be in development, that's how exciting this new series is."

Adding: "I can't wait to see what you've got."

You can apply at Studio Ramsay here.
