Gordon Ramsay makes dig at complaining Cornwall neighbours as he isolates at second home

Gordon Ramsay isn't doing anything to ease the tension between himself and his neighbours.

The TV chef, 53, has been widely criticised for deciding to self-isolate in his second home in Cornwall during the coronavirus crisis, with locals threatening to chase him out of the area.

And he couldn't resist making fun of his critics when he did an Instagram live on Saturday afternoon, saying he was going to do something to "put a smile on their faces".

It all started when he vowed to donate £10,000 to NHS charities if he wasn't able to make a burger within 10 minutes.

He failed the challenge but said he would have donated the money if he won.

After the burger was complete he said he was going to give it to his neighbours.

Gordon explained: "I'm not going to eat this. I'm going to give it to the neighbours next door.

"Hopefully that might put a smile on their face.

He then ran outside his door and towards what looked like his neighbour's house.

Gordon said "love thy neighbour!" while his daughter giggled.

It comes after he swiped at his neighbours when he gifted them some asparagus from his garden.

He said that they'd still find a way to "whinge" despite the gift.

His neighbours have complained about the Ramsays putting vulnerable locals at risk by travelling from London to isolate in the area, as well as possibly putting even more pressure on local hospitals.

Gordon is is currently holed up in his £4 million mansion with his wife Tana and their five kids; Meghan, 22, twins Holly and Jack, 20, Tilly, 18 and baby Oscar, who turns one this month.
