Gordon Ramsay lets slip swear word just 45 seconds into new show Bank Balance

Gordon Ramsay dropped his first swear word just 45 seconds into his brand new BBC show.

The chef, who first embarked on a TV career with Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares in 2004, is turning into a game show host with Gordon Ramsay’s Bank Balance.

The 54-year-old's new prime time show sees him guide hopeful contestants to answer questions in a bid to win the whopping £100,000 jackpot.

In a bid to win as much dosh as possible, the gamers have to balance a series of “gold bars” on a wobbling platform.

The nature of the game is incredibly tense and anxiety-inducing, so naturally, Gordon let slip a few curse words less than a minute into the show.

The Hell's Kitchen star, who is known for having a foul mouth, dropped two 's**ts' throughout the episode, and also shouted ‘f**k’ during a heated moment.

Gordon’s new show, which has been deliberately scheduled for after the 9pm watershed, sees the outspoken contestants rival his famous sassy and sarcastic attitude.

The first episode sees a fiery gamer call out Gordon’s ‘potty mouth’ - leaving him rather unimpressed.

The cheeky female contestant reveals that her name is ‘Gordon’ because she’s “intolerant and potty-mouthed".

After meeting his match, an unimpressed Gordon claps back: “Are you f**king kidding me?”

Lifting the lid on his brand new venture, Gordon said viewers are in for a treat.

“It’s unpredictable, volatile and very, very unstable…sound familiar?" he quipped.

The show kicks off on Wednesday 24 February and will run for three nights over three consecutive weeks (BBC/Studio Ramsay/Mark Johnson)

The show kicks off on Wednesday 24 February and will run for three nights over three consecutive weeks.

Gordon previously told The Mirror that he was nervous after BBC bosses decided to screen the untested format in prime time over three nights of the week – for three weeks.

“There’s something pretty dynamic about being given a show at 9pm, stripped across nine nights on the BBC,” he says.

“You wake up in the morning and you s**t yourself. It’s very rare you get a chance to not just present your own show, but be part of that creative team. And that was the bit that got me out of bed every morning at 5am.

“You look at the success of The Chase, The Wall, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? coming back, there’s definitely a need for that kind of connect. And Bank Balance offers that.”
