And now father-of-five Gordon Ramsay has joked he brandishes his chef’s knife whenever his daughters’ boyfriends come over to his house.
The protective 54-year-old bans boys who visit Megan, 23, Holly, 21, and Matilda, 19, from the bedrooms.
He says: “I stand there, about to chop onions, and stare at them with a knife, and go: ‘You are not going upstairs, you little s***... you are f***ing staying downstairs’.”
The lads brave enough to stay do at least get offered a slap-up meal cooked by the seven-Michelin-starred chef.
Gordon, whose Masterchef: Legends is airing in the US, says he asks them: “What the f*** would you like to eat and what time do you have to be f***ing kicked out of here?’”
Matilda, or Tilly, who has a CBBC cooking show, has dated Luciano, the son of Gino D’Acampo, which Gordon called his “worst nightmare”.
He has said he and the Beckhams have a pact none of their children – he also has sons Jack, 21, and Oscar, two, with wife Tana – will date.
But it’s not all terror in the kitchen. Tilly has been teaching her dad how to dance on TikTok videos.
“She said, ‘Dad, you’ve got moves like Jagger, feet like canoes, and I am going to teach you!’” he told Extra TV.
“It’s quite nice being schooled by your daughter, and, all of a sudden, you think, ‘S**t, I can dance, man!
“I never thought I would be dancing in my 50s... More chefs should dance.”
