Gordon Ramsay insults woman's teeth on Saturday Night Takeaway - and fans are furious

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were not impressed with Gordon Ramsay's appearance on the show tonight.

Fans of the ITV series took to Twitter to express their concern at the idea of Gordon swearing on the family show and also about a comment he made about one viewer.

The 54-year-old chef is known for his potty mouth and short temper, and even hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly warned him not to swear at the beginning of the programme.

The Geordie duo revealed that had invested in a bleep machine for Gordon's appearance - just to be on the safe side.

However, as Gordon took part in the Read My Lips game, he made a rather harsh comment about one viewer and her teeth - admitting he was distracted by them.

Viewers tuning in at home were not happy at all and took to Twitter to vent.

One tweeted: "I feel personally attacked by Gordon Ramsey’s comment about that lady’s gap in her front teeth #SaturdayNightTakeaway @antanddec."

Another person posted: "Disgusting that Gordon Ramsay just insulted that lady on live tv because she has a gap in her teeth. He’s such an oil painting himself... #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

A third added: "#SaturdayNightTakeaway Gordon Ramsay just cannot help himself. His mouth is so disgusting he swears without even knowing he's doing it.

"We're keeping it clean" and seconds later GR says "P**sed". ITV should know better than to take a chance booking him for a family show," the angry viewer added.

Another fan of the show tweeted: "How savage was Gordon Ramsey, although its hardly a surprise #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway airs Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
