Glasgow TikTok star Jimmy Stewart has more than earned himself full 'legend' status over the past six months or so for the hilarious videos he has posted on the social media platform.
Jimmy became the talk of the steamie back in September last year after his hysterical drunken 'Four Corners' tour of the city on his first visit to the pub following the first lockdown went viral - racking up an impressive 250,000 views to date.
And we were left equally impressed with a video he posted showing him make a full steak dinner using only a hotel iron, kettle and trouser press - a video which again went viral with over 300,000 people taking in his bizarre yet fascinating 'cheat' cooking skills.
And now his ability to conjure up a full dinner using only hotel room appliances has caught the attention of none other than Johnstone-born celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who reviewed one of Jimmy's hotel 'cheat' meals on his own TikTok page - which has an incredible 21m followers and 311m likes.
The one-minute video sees Jimmy - dressed Rab C Nesbitt style in a string vest - cook himself a tasty-looking steak dinner in a hotel room, much to the amazement of Ramsay.
The dinner preparation sees him boil potatoes in a bag in a kettle, before he cooks chopped raw onions, a tomato sauce and seasoning in a cut-out Pringles tin using hair tongs.
And the pièce de résistance sees him season his sirloin steak before cooking it on the hotel room iron.
Gordon Ramsay's surprise and shock at the method is palpable throughout, responding to the initial shot of the ingredients on the hotel room table - complete with cans of Stella to wash it down - with: "Right somebody's ready, knife and fork, Stella, Pringles, mmmm, now what is that, tomato sauce?"
He then says "Jimmy, Jimmy, come on...potatoes, in a bag, in a kettle?" and "watch your fingers there chopping that onion", before asking Jimmy "Kid what's with the vest? I get it with Freddy Mercury but on you, seriously?"
He then on viewing the Pringles can says "Pringles in half, no, come on, stop it!...Tomato sauce in a Pringles container! No come on! Seasoning, raw onion, oh come on stop it! Hair tong sauce, oh stop it!"
And on viewing the steak preparation he says "seasoning, string vest, dirty, ok!" before then asking "Where's that going, kid?" and then exclaims "No, not on an iron! Don't tell me it's a flat iron steak! Boil the bake potatoes. Are you kidding me. No come on kid seriously? And now a hair tong sauce that will definitely put hairs on your chest! Really!"
The video has been viewed an incredible 4.9m times since being posted by Ramsay yesterday, and has been 'liked' over 630,000 times and commented on over 7,000 times.
