Gordon Ramsay brands co-stars Gino and Fred 'so f***ing lazy' in cheeky work ethic rant

Gordon Ramsay branded his Road Trip co-stars Gino D'Acampo and Fred Siriex 'so f***ing lazy'.

The TV chef stars in the ITV series, Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip and opened up about what it's like working with the duo.

Speaking on the Big Fish podcast with Spencer Matthews, the Kitchen Nightmares star compliment them before calling them lazy.

Gordon explained: "They are great, they are wonderful, fantastic, incredible pain in the a**es. They're so f***ing lazy, they make me look good."

He went on to joke that sometimes Gino will randomly require an espresso while First Dates maître d'hôtel Fred will want a croissant.

No matter what demands the two make, the three stars still get on swimmingly.

"So we do get on, but three or four days in it's like, 'Move over, I want more room in the bed', or, 'Can we have a break?' They don't work hard," he continued.

Gordon's comments come after Gino was reportedly caught with cannabis in his luggage with airport sniffer dogs when he returned to the UK from Spain.

He had been filming with Gordon and Fred, it had been reported.

Shortly after exiting Gordon's private jet at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, sniffer dogs reportedly began to circle the Italian chef.

A source claims that “Fred and Gordon were pretty cross”, after police pulled Gino over and cannabis was discovered in a small box inside his luggage.

He was given a warning upon assuring officers the cannabis was for his own medicinal use, and that it was not intended for anyone else.

The star’s alleged airport bust reportedly occurred on November 29 last year, before Gino confirmed he would be quitting Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.

Gino made the announcement he would be leaving the show after four series last month, reportedly blindsiding ITV bosses amid “stressful” contract talks.

He went on to say he didn’t want the discussions to ruin his friendship with co-stars Gordon, 56, and Frenchman Fred, 51,

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “The reason is simple — nothing to do with Gordon and Fred, the friendship is very strong. It’s just because we can’t get the dates together. When contracts start to get very complicated, then it becomes very stressful.”
