Gordon Ramsay branded 'evil' for savage dismissal on US MasterChef

Gordon Ramsay has been branded 'evil' after an old clip of him sending home a contestant on Masterchef US went viral on TikTok.

The Scots TV chef, who is best known for his brutal honesty and fiery temper, was a judge on the American version of the show alongside Graham Elliot and Joe Bastianich back in 2014.

In the clip, posted by TikTok user Mo, a female contestant can be seen waiting for Gordon's vote to land a place in the show.

The former footballer turned chef, quizzes the woman about who she brought to her audition for support before asking her to bring them out on stage.

After returning to the stage with 11 supports all cheering and holding up banners, Gordon's next move was nothing short of savage.

Ramsay simply says: "It's a no."

And as the rejected contestant leaves with her dreams in tatters, the camera pans over to Ramsay who has a massive grin on his face.

"He did this poor little girl so dirty," Mo said.

"He really made her go to the back, call out all her family members, and made it seem like she was gonna pass.

"They came in all cheering and s*** just to get shut down - and just look at the smile on his face."

Since being shared on the platform, the video has racked up more than 4.4 million views, with 1.2 million people liking it and 15,000 leaving comments about how brutal he was.

Whilst one person thought "he woke up and chose violence", another said: "Gordon has no chill."

A third renamed him: "Gordon 'Menace' Ramsay."

"Bro what did you expect? It's just him," wrote a fourth person.

But then he told her she hadn't been successful (_m0_g/TIKTOK)

But others felt bad for the poor woman he turned away, as one viewer said: "No way you can be this happy over failing someone."

He sat there laughing (_m0_g/TIKTOK)

And someone else put: "I would drop off the face of the earth if this happened to me."
