Gordon Ramsay branded a 'joke' after furious diner served 'tiny' steak and chips for £23

Gordon Ramsay has been roasted by a furious customer who was served a tiny portion of steak and chips for £23 in one of his restaurants.

The diner left a scathing TripAdvisor review after visiting the Scottish TV chef's York and Albany eatery in London this week.

Posting on the travel review site, Guillaume R gave a one-star rating after being served a 'small' steak and 'over-salted' chips.

They accused the celebrity chef, 53, of treating his customers like a joke and wrote: "Gordon isn't Heston, but Gordon is Jesus.

"He multiplies the steaks – give him a regular sized, one portion steak in any restaurant and this is what he comes up with.

"Five slices of meat with over salted fries. £23....

“Gordon you made a name giving advice on how to run a restaurant.

"Let me give you my advice."

The fuming reviewer continued: “This is Covid time, hospitality sector is in bad shape, blatantly joking at your customers won’t help your business.

"Two stars for the polite staff.”

It comes days after the celebrity chef was slammed for £19 for a breakfast - which didn't include beans or black pudding.

The Hells Kitchen star was mocked online for the fry-up  at London's Savoy Grill restaurant after charing an extra £5 for a sausage.

Gordon hit back at those who criticized the meal and call one fan an "idiot sandwich".
