Gordon Ramsay accused of 'ruining' £9 chocolate brownie with final ingredient

Gordon Ramsay's self-proclaimed "perfect" chocolate brownies have been harshly criticised by fans online for looking like "cat vomit".

If it's not the price of his tiny steak and chips and 'preselected' cheese board, or the child-sized roast dinner, it's his chocolate brownies angering fans.

Celebrity chef Gordon, 53, took to Instagram to share how the £9 sweet treat is made with his 9.9 million followers, Daily Star reports.

Tagging his York and Albany restaurant in the social media post, the potty-mouthed TV star writes: "The perfect Sunday treat!"

But fans were left baffled after the chef added the final ingredient.

Gordon has come under fire for his chocolate brownies (PA)

He begins by placing a few slices of banana in a grey dish before adding mouth-watering chocolate brownies on top.

Next, Gordon adds a scoop of salted caramel ice cream and blankets it with a generous portion of dulce de leche.

And to top it off, he garnishes it with a dusting of cocoa powder.

But the way the dessert was made has divided fans.

Top Gear star Paddy McGuinness commented: "Yes, yes, yes!"

Another fan said: "Legend Ramsay."

A third also added: "Stop making me hungry lol."

But others likened the cream on top of the pud to "vomit."

One wrote: "Gordon it was perfect when the ice cream landed. But then something that looked like omelette vomit was squeezed on top ... seriously."

A second asked: "What's with the cat vomit on the top?"

A third said: "What on earth was squirted on top at the end? Ruined it looks vile."

And: "Think you're running out of ideas. Looks a mess" said a fourth.

Mirror Online have reached out for a comment.

This comes after Gordon showed off his £7.75 sticky toffee pudding which is served at Plane Food in Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5.

Whilst some fans thought it looked delectable, others thought the toffee being drizzled over the cake looked like "gravy".

"Why are you pouring thin gravy on that cake. Chocolate might be better?" asked one fan.

Another said: "Gravy, cake and mashed potato?"
