Don’t be too alarmed, but Boston Celtics veteran forward Gordon Hayward has been spotted up and about sporting a walking boot.
On his wife Robyn’s Instagram, a picture of the couple was posted with Hayward standing behind his wife, clearly wearing a walking boot.
The Butler product had recently been revealed to have been playing on the ankle he severely sprained at the start of the Celtics postseason run, and probably is wearing the boot to help stabilize his ankle after putting it through the business against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Without any injury information, it’s impossible to know if it is an issue of concern, but we’ll be monitoring the situation, and currently have no reason to believe we ought to be worried.
One interesting wrinkle: Robyn’s Instagram has a different version of the same photo than captured by Barstool Sports’ Dan Greenberg above — now, the boot has been cropped out of the picture.
