If Daddy’s always happy in the Hayward household, not too long from now Boston Celtics veteran forward Gordon and wife Robyn will be especially so with news the couple are expecting a new addition to their growing family.
The pair announced the new arrival on Robyn’s Instagram last Thursday, with a picture of their existing children next to an as-of-yet unoccupied green and white onesie in the photo.
Robyn wrote “Baby G coming in September,” confirming the unborn child’s sex as male in the comments.
Hayward has already had three daughters with his wife, but was hopeful for a son the last time Robyn was pregnant (the origin of the ‘Daddy’s always happy’ quote).
Assuming the ultrasounds were correct, the 11-year veteran will have his wish soon enough — and even if the scans were off, we already know how the former Bulldog will feel about it.
