IT'S been the most incredible of years for indie-folk artist Gordi, aka Sophie Payten. She's gone from releasing her acclaimed second album Our Two Skins in June to working as a frontline doctor in Victoria during the height of the coronavirus outbreak.
Having hung up her mask and gown momentarily, Gordi is preparing for her intimate album tour, which includes a show at the Newcastle City Hall on October 15.
Before the tour begins Gordi will headline episode three of Newcastle livestream show Music People next Tuesday from 8pm. Gordi's performance will be filmed in isolation, while the other guests will perform live inside Sawtooth Studios.
Newcastle's Ben Leece is also confirmed for episode three which will be livestreamed through the Newcastle Herald Facebook page.
