Gordan Ramsay's plans for fast-food burger chain revealed

TV chef Gordon Ramsay could soon be giving diners a right mouthful… of fast-food burgers.

The star of The F-Word and Kitchen Nightmares has applied to register the trademark “Gordon Ramsay Burger” in the UK.

The Scot already has a fast-food restaurant under the same name in Las Vegas and the latest move
suggests he may be planning a chain in Britain.

His application to the Intellectual Property Office is to use the title for “takeaway food and drink services”.

Under IPO guidelines, applicants must wait up to three months to find out if they’ve been successful.

Ramsay, 53, is already offering takeaway burgers from his gastropub The Narrow in Limehouse, east London.

A short rib pattie with oakwood smoked cheese starts at £12.50, with a side of “stealth fries” costing an extra fiver.

He has eight restaurants in Las Vegas and Gordon Ramsay Burger, which seats 200, is considered a
jewel in the crown.

Ramsay may have 16 Michelin stars but he loves eating burgers. He orders his “animal style”, with mustard, pickles, grilled onions and extra spread – and does not stop at one.

He once said: “In-N-Out burgers are extraordinary. I was so bad, I sat in the restaurant, had a double
cheeseburger, drove around and got it again to take away.”

Ramsay wasn’t available for comment on his plans.
