Gor Mahia post hilarious response to Everton's comfortable win over Manchester United

Everton were on top goalscoring form on Sunday as they managed to secure a comfortable win over Manchester United at Goodison Park.

The visitors were hapless, but all credit should go to the Blues for forcing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side into countless mistakes - and duly punishing them for almost every one.

Marco Silva's side eventually romped to a 4-0 win thanks to two brilliant strikes from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson in the first half, followed by an equally impressive Lucas Digne effort in the second before Theo Walcott rounded off the victory in style.

James McCarthy shares honest assessment of his Everton situation - and what future could hold

This was Everton's second-highest scoring match of the campaign so far, just behind an impressive 5-1 win away to Burnley on Boxing Day.

However, it's not the only 4-0 the Blues have managed this term - as one side was very keen to point out.

Silva's side came up against Gor Mahia in November as part of the SportPesa Trophy - in a match which saw Yerry Mina handed his first ever start in royal blue.

Playing a weakened side in preparation for a Premier League fixture against Chelsea the following weekend, Everton secured a 4-0 win at Goodison Park thanks to goals from Ademola Lookman , Kieran Dowell, Nathan Broadhead and Oumar Niasse .

And the Kenyan side have taken to social media to mock Manchester United and praise Everton for another triumph.

They tweeted: "GIVEN THE SAME TREAT! Everton, seems 4 - 0 is the language you understand best. That was a perfect capsule and we never complained... same way United too should just take it easy because it's just football."

Of course the line-ups in both matches were very different, but Gor Mahia won't care - the scoreline is clearly what matters to them!
