Families living in Newcastle can now get their groceries delivered within half-an-hour round the clock.
Described as a 'US instant-needs pioneer' Gopuff has launched in the Newcastle area and claims to be able to deliverer thousands of products in just minutes, via its app.
The company charges a flat rate of £1.79 per order, and is offering all customers 50% off their first delivery.

The US company, which was founded in 2013, says it aims to enter the UK with leading affordable prices and immediate access to necessary goods.
Its delivery pricing is on a par with Uber Eats, but the choice looks to be wider and the delivery times quoted are around 20 minutes faster than Uber.
Pricing of groceries on Gopuff's website looks to be similar to Tesco, with some pricing a couple of pennies cheaper than the grocery giant.
For instance, 200g Pringles are £2.14 on GoPuff compared to £2.50 at Tesco, 8 Richmond sausages are £1.99 at Gopuff and £2 at Tesco, and 50 Twinings English Breakfast tea bags are £3.79 at Gopuff, compared to £4.30 at Tesco.
However, fresh produce such as fruit and veg is more expensive, with a head of celery coming in at 71p on Gopuff compared to 43p at Tesco, 250g punnet of cherry tomatoes at 79p on Gopuff and 48p at Tesco and 600g bag of easy peelers at £1.71 and £1.35 at Tesco.
But with delivery at all major supermarkets coming in at between £1 and £7 per shop and most with a minimum spend of £40, Gopuff might be a serious contender for those wanting their goods quickly, as well as a handy service for emergency deliveries of nappies, alcohol and basics like bread and milk.
Gopuff operates using micro-fulfilment centres in every market it serves, and promised delivery of goods within 15-25 minutes when Jesmond, Gosforth and central Newcastle postcodes were input into the app.
The instant delivery company has more than 500 micro-fulfilment centres across North America and Europe, and is now operating in 10 UK cities, including Newcastle.
Its founders have stated they are hoping to offer their groceries to customers in 33 cities in the UK by the middle of 2022.
