Gogglebox stars took to social media today to announce a new special would be airing tonight, as the third lockdown continues.
The much loved show has been missing from our screens for a few weeks, with many fans wanting their favourite Friday night show to return.
Jenny and Lee told their followers a new series of the show would be starting in February a few weeks ago, but today they returned to Instagram to say a new episode of the show would be airing tonight to bring some 'light relief' to the new national lockdown.
The pair shared a selfie beaming at the camera and captioned it: "ITS FRIDAY, ITS GOGGLEBOX FRIDAY, OMG, AND ITS ON FOR 90MINS IT’S NOT A REPEAT.
"IT’S NOT THE BEST BITS, IT’S ALL NEW GOGGLEBOX.
"A BIT OF LIGHT RELIEF FOR LOCKDOWN 3.
"ENJOY EVERY ONE KEEP WELL KEEP SAFE.
"SEE YA ALL IN FEBRUARY."
Ellie was also quick to tell her followers about the new episode as she shared a video of her and sister Izzi cheering.
She captioned the post: " Weeeyyyyy it’s @c4gogglebox Friday. all new gogglebox festive special tonight! Make sure you don’t miss it! @channel4 at 9pm tonight! Be there or be square."
And fans were thrilled with the news, with many of them commenting that they couldn't wait for the new episode.
