Google Stadia games announced ahead of launch next week - and there's something for everyone

It was first announced back in June, and now Google Stadia is finally about to launch next week.

The gaming platform uses the cloud to stream games instead of requiring players to download them. Users also won’t need a console to play, with Google ’s servers handling much of the weight tasks instead.

The service will finally launch on November 19, and in the run-up, Google has now revealed the 12 games that will be available from day one.

In a blog about the games, the Stadia Team wrote: “We’re launching Stadia with 12 carefully-chosen games on day one, and an additional 14 will be available by the end of the year.

“There’s something for everyone here: a library of superb, critically-acclaimed titles spanning multiple genres and age ratings.”
