One Twitter user has caused a stir after posting a screenshot tracking the actual length of Dublin's famous Long Mile Road.
The iconic stretch of tarmac features in Christy Moore's 'Joxer Goes to Stuggart' when he compares the Autobahn to the path linking south and west Dublin.
But the German's daughter would have gotten some shock if she came across this tweet after all of Whacker and the gang's talking.
The user posted a picture which said the road is 1.5km, falling short of the 1.6km that makes a mile.
One Twitter user replied suggesting the road be renamed to 'The Short Mile Rd'.

Another suggested: "How about 'One And A Little Bit Roman Miles Road'.
However, Dublin Live took it upon themselves to do a closer inspection and it appears the road does go further than the original post.
According to Google Maps, the road stretches beyond and meets the Naas road.
Including this, it comes out at 1.7km, making it slightly over a mile.
What do you think? Did Google Maps get it wrong? Where exactly does the Long Mile Road stop and end and how long is it? Let us know.
