Google Gmail is reportedly down across the country.
Users are experiencing issues with the Google system including Gmail, Google sheets, Youtube and other programmes.
Reports of issues began to surface around 11.22am this morning (Monday).
Hundreds of users have expressed issues to DownDetector, the independent outage monitor, with the majority so far relating to receiving messages and logging in.
And people are taking to social media to vent their frustrations.
"Is anyone else’s #gmail down? Kind of freaking out @gmail," wrote one.
Another said: "Yoooo @Google what's going on yo!? @YouTube even @Gmail is down. #YouTubeDOWN."
"This is the worst day ever! YT, Gmail & Google Drive is down," a third added.
A fourth commented: "Google and every single one of their products is down: YouTube, Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc! If this is not a perfect summary of 2020 I don't know what it is #googledown."
Google has not yet responded to the reasons for the outage which appears to be affecting users worldwide.
