The event takes place from Monday, February 7 to Friday, February 11, 2022, at locations around Manchester, with some events online.
Google’s director of strategy and operations UK&I Craig Fenton is one of its keynote speakers along with Alison Ross at Autotrader and chair at Manchester Digital.
The education partners for the event are the University of Salford and the School of Digital Arts (SODA) at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The event will also see the annual Skills Audit 2022 results announced, which give us an insight into the tech and digital industry in the second year of Covid restrictions and a fast-changing tech industry.
Katie Gallagher, managing director of Manchester Digital, said: "The majority of tech companies are growing but struggling to recruit talent with the right tech skills.
"Getting young people into the tech industry and ensuring graduates' roles are filled by the right candidates is a vital part of the jigsaw to fill the growing tech and digital skills shortage.
"Our skills festival also takes place during National Apprentice Week, so we’ll also be showcasing the different pathways that young people could take into the tech industry.
"We’re thrilled to welcome Craig Fenton from Google UK and Ireland to talk about the future of tech education, as well as our chair Alison Ross and everyone who is taking part in our panel discussions."
