Jason Kottke's recent post on evidence that points to a possible Google browser has started a lot of brains ticking over.
So what's the evidence that he's pieced together so far? Well, Googleplex hosted a Mozilla developer day; they bought the domain gbrowser.com earlier this year; and they've been hiring former IE builders.
I haven't seen any other reports which build much further than Jason's investigations, but Google has issued some non-denial denials - so it could be a case of where there's smoke...
Is this another example of the new phase of established web firms attacking each other's territory?
