Goodbye Lisa, hello new neighbours

So, it's goodbye Lisa - not that much of a surprise. The viewers were never going to break up the blossoming romance between Mikey and Imogen, and Nikki is just too good comedy viewing value to be evicted at this stage. But who cares? All anyone is talking about since tonight's eviction is the news that next week, there's going to a new Big Brother house.

But, briefly, back to the eviction. It was a pretty neutral event - Lisa was both booed and cheered by the crowd, who seemed to have made up its mind that she was the one to go from the very start of the show. She received an impressive 60% of the total votes cast.

Although charismatic and sweet in her post-eviction interview with Davina - who called her "a fucking great housemate" - I'd guess that while she wants to be remembered as the "mad, loud Chinese girl", Lisa will probably be forgotten for being neither loved nor hated. As Nikki told her: "I said I didn't like you at the start of the week, but I like you now."

But back to the house that Big Brother built... In one week, a new, hidden house will open right next door to the main one with five new housemates - but these new housemates think they are entering the existing house, not a new secret one. On Monday, the existing housemates will nominate as usual, but we get to vote one of the nominees into the new house. A good plan that will give us something new and exciting to get glued to or, as my housemate said, messing with a winning formula that the viewers do not want to change?
