'Goodbye Emery!' - Some Arsenal fans can't believe two key decisions made for Vitoria clash

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has left some Gunners fans baffled with his team selection for the Europa League clash with Vitoria this afternoon (Wednesday).

The Gunners are in Portugal to take on Vitoria Guimaraes, with Arsenal sitting top of Group F with three wins from three games so far.

As such, the Gunners could seal their place in the knockout stages of the competition with a victory against the Portuguese Primeira Liga side this afternoon, with two games still to play.

But with Arsenal in such a good position in the group, some Gunners fans cannot understand why Emery has named the side he has to face Vitoria.

Arsenal have made eight changes for the game, with summer signings Kieran Tierney, Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli among those starting the clash.

James Benge: There's confidence that Vitoria may cause an upset

The Gunners do have an important Premier League fixture against Leicester City on Saturday, with Emery's men set to face the third-placed Foxes at the King Power Stadium.

And with that in mind, some Arsenal fans have been left concerned that Tierney and Pepe being involved this afternoon could men they are not likely to start on Saturday, which hasn't gone down too well with some supporters.

Here's how some Arsenal fans have been reacting to the team selection made by the under-fire head coach.

However, it has not all been negative from Arsenal supporters, with some hopeful that Pepe can pick up where he left off against Vitoria, having scored two goals after coming on as a substitute against the Portuguese side at the Emirates Stadium less than a fortnight ago.
