Goodbye Bush, says hair removal ad

Monkey has a certain fond regard for brash Australians. And we don't just mean Rupert Murdoch. That fondness extends to Gary Linnell, the newly installed editor of the Sydney Daily Telegraph. Today the Tele, as it is known Down Under, found the space to publish, amid its acres of Obama coverage, a print advert for the well-known hair removal cream Veet. The brand, proud of its depilatory endeavours, had a special message for all on the historic day that America welcomed its first black president. Slap next to the brand's logo was the simple message "Goodbye Bush". We are sure that there is a double meaning in there somewhere.
