The university rankings are officially out - with some surprises for universities in Glasgow and Scotland as a whole.
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022 has revealed where it ranks Glasgow's four universities among the country's best places to study as well as 14 of Scotland's educational institutions.
St Andrews came out on top this year beating the top university University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, something no university has achieved in its near 30-year history, according to The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022.
The institution guide is based on nine key measures said to be relevant to student experience which is the "definitive ranking for British universities".

With the rankings now revealed, this means that every Glasgow university has jumped up the rankings.
The University of Glasgow came out on top this year for the city having moved up by two rankings sitting at the 12th spot having come 14th last year.
This was followed by Glasgow Caledonian University who came 60th, jumping up the leader board by 15 positions having come 75th last year.
The University of the West of Scotland came 110th compared to 116th and the University of Strathclyde came 17th compared to 23rd the previous year.
