The start of November is normally considered too early to get into the festive spirit – but not this year.
Nobody could begrudge anyone a bit of early Christmas cheer after the 2020 we've all suffered through.
While the traditional buildup to the holiday season would see Christmas tunes and jingles being played throughout offices and workplaces around Ireland, the next few weeks are going to be a bit different.
But if you fancy blasting the likes of All I Want For Christmas Is You, Jingle Bells, and Fairytale of New York on repeat in your home, Christmas FM has an early present for listeners.
Ahead of its imminent launch on the FM radiowaves, the station is already spreading some Christmas cheer for all to hear because it has now launched online for 2020.
After kicking off its broadcasting 12 years ago, the station has become incredibly popular with Irish listeners and the jolly return of Christmas FM return was confirmed on its Instagram page.
At present, the station isn't officially due back until November 28th but, much like Santa's elves, the presenters have been busy at work from today.
"We are back ONLINE TODAY! Due to popular demand, you can listen to Christmas FM ONLINE from 12pm TODAY!," the station announced.

"We’re on the countdown to the official launch of the FM station later this month when we SWITCH ON CHRISTMAS in Ireland. In the meantime, our presenters are back and live on Christmas FM Online. You can tune in on our app, on your smart speaker or at christmasfm.com." it added.
The nation's favourite festive radio station made a temporary return earlier this year when it graced the Irish airwaves between 7am and midnight on July 9. This time, however, it's here to stay – for the next few weeks at least.
For those that prefer to listen to the station via more traditional means, the radio frequencies for this year's Christmas FM can be found on the website, but you'll have to wait for a few more weeks before it starts broadcasting on other mediums.
