Emmerdale and Coronation Street episodes to be released in weekly Monday boxsets

The 2021 Euros bring good news for Emmerdale fans as the soap is set to release full weeks of episodes in Monday box sets.

TV schedules are changing for the Euros and so the soap will move to the ITV Hub and is going to make sure fans don't miss out.

Emmerdale follows in the footsteps of EastEnders and Coronation Street, which will also move online in a boxset style format.

The ITV hub will show a whole week's episodes from a Monday. The episodes will still air on ITV are normal, but in different time slots.

Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod commented on the switch, saying: "There are loads of key rivalries across the Cobbles this summer and I think it will be like following your favourite team – there will be times where they let you down, make mistakes and maybe score a few own goals.

"But you’ll back them till the end and woe betide anyone else who criticises them.

"Given how exciting the stories are, it’s great that fans will have the chance to binge-watch all the episodes on ITV Hub at the start of each week – as with football, sometimes when it’s an exciting face-off, you really want extra time."

It's set to be an explosive week in Emmerdale as things come to a head with Kim Tate is set to unmask her poisoner.

Fans have been complaining that the storyline is taking too long, so it's hopeful that things might finally come to a head.
