Chris Hughton hopes for “good news” as Nottingham Forest continue to await a decision over their attempt to sign Kamil Grosicki.
A deal had been agreed for the West Bromwich Albion winger to make the move to the City Ground on domestic deadline day, last Friday.
However, the transfer has been left in the balance amid concerns the paperwork was not submitted in time.
And Hughton says he has yet to hear confirmation whether or not Grosicki will become the Reds’ 15th summer signing.
“No, I’m not aware,” he said, when asked if there had been any update.
“I’m not quite sure how long we’ll have to wait, but certainly we hope it will be good news.”
