Good Morning Britain viewers spot the same thing about Kate Garraway as she gets into on-air 'spat' with Ben Shephard

Good Morning Britain viewers were left pretty distracted by Kate Garraway during the latest episode despite her getting into a bit of a 'spat' with co-star Ben Shephard live on air. The presenters were back fronting the ITV news programme's last episode of the week on Friday (July 7).

As ever, Kate and Ben were bringing viewers all the latest news headlines and were joined by a number of guests from the world of politics and entertainment as well as those lined up for their latest topical debates. However, there was one topic that left things between the co-stars and friends getting heated.

Referring to a news story about a popular breakfast cereal, Ben started by saying: "We're eating our Weetabix wrong," before explaining: "The theory is you're supposed to put the milk in the bowl first". Kate replied: "Everybody does that", but Ben said: "No they don't".

They continued back and forth before Kate said: "You put the milk in first and then the Weetabix absorbs the milk," to which Ben said: "No you don't, our floor manager is shaking his head in disgust," before adding: "I can't tell you how wrong you are". But it wasn't long before Kate was tucking into her own Weetabix concoction featuring honey.

Meanwhile, Kate had viewers taking to social media as they couldn't help but make the same comparison regarding a host's attire. The 56-year-old was seen sporting a green and white striped shirt which fans couldn't help but think looked like a popular sweet from the 80s.

@sblood1970 tweeted: "@GMB Has Kate Garraway eaten a packet or two of Pacers this morning?" alongside an image of a packet of Pacers, which were riginally known as Opal Mints and were plain white coloured chewy spearmint flavoured sweets.

@KelleySchruyers echoed: "@GMB Kate is dressed like a sweet from 1980s Pacers!" alongside a side-by-side image of the sweets and Kate in the GMB studio. @EV_Blobby also posted a picture of the sweets and added with a crying laughing emoji: "@GMB nice outfit Kate."
