Good Morning Britain viewers baffled as Kate Garraway attempts the floss - and it doesn't go to plan

If you though flossing was just for youngsters - think again.

Kate Garraway, 52, has proved that you don’t need to still be in education to attempt the dance move, which first went viral two years ago.

Well, sort of.

The Good Morning Britain presenter threw herself into the body jerking routine earlier today after her co-host Ben Shephard confessed he couldn’t do it.

Susanna Reid started it, by exclaiming: "Hang on, Kate can do the floss!"

When Ben asked whether she could still do it, Kate replied: "I don't know, it was a while back wasn't it?

"I'll give it a try."

After throwing herself into it, poor Kate quickly got the arm movements a little confused.

Cheeky Ben described it as a “dyslexic floss” as her arms became tangled.

When she realised it wasn’t quite as easy as it looks, she sat down confessing that she “went out of rhythm” and added her try was a "celebration of limbs".

Viewers were more than a little baffled with what on earth possessed her to do it.

One said: “Why did Kate just stand up and have a seizure on TV???”

A second posted: "Was Kate dancing or fitting?”

A third, referencing Ben’s comment, simply wrote: “Dyslexic floss” with lots of laughing emojis.

But not everyone was so critical.

Another posted: "’Snake hips’ Kate has some moves on her!”
