Good Morning Britain under fire as viewers blast presenters' questions

Good Morning Britain was under fire from fans who criticised the questions asked by presenters during today's show.

The ITV news programme is currently rotating between a combination of guest hosts and Tuesday's edition of the show was presented by Ranvir Singh and Charlotte Hawkins.

They covered the major issues of the day, including the fallout from the crisis in Afghanistan.

The presenters interviewed the Defence Secretary Ben Wallace and Pen Farthing, the former Royal Marines commando and founder of the Nowzad Dogs charity, who is currently stranded in Afghanistan.

However, fans of the show took to Twitter to criticise the questions for being too long.

One user said: "Why are your questions so long to guests? I’d forgot the answer to the questions by the time your journalists/presenters have finished asking? Not a criticism, love #gmb, just a question."

Another added: "I’ll ask again - do the directors of #gmb take no notice of the feedback from viewers, in particular , the long rambling questions from the presenters taking up much of the interview time with guests.?

A third said: "Why does it take the two newsreaders on “Good Morning Britain” half an hour to ask questions of interviewees?"

Other fans also slammed the hosts after they claimed they interrupted the guests during their answers.

One user said: "Why do #gmb bother having guests on? Ranvir poses the questions and then answers them herself?"

Another commented: "Ranvir don't you dare interrupt Pen Farthing, he needs to be able to speak his message and be heard!"

A third added: "Please stop interrupting guests when they are talking. It’s a difficult watch"

Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am on ITV and ITVHub
