Good Morning Britain stars mercilessly mock Matt Hancock’s dodgy Queen karaoke

Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid mocked Health Secretary Matt Hancock mercilessly for his karaoke attempt at Don't Stop Me Now.

Matt was filmed belting out the Queen song at a party alongside Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Thérèse Coffey.

"If you are of a sensitive disposition, we are about to show some footage of Health Secretary Matt Hancock and Thérèse 'wake up and never smell the' Coffey, which is so horrific, you may want to protect your children, your elderly, certainly the infirm," said Piers.

"This is not something that should be watched casually, this is something to brace yourself for," he warned.

"Because we are about to show you one of the single most horrific videos possibly ever recorded, they are doing a duet at karaoke."

He added: "Imagine thinking as Matt Hancock you could be the next Freddie Mercury."

The clip played on screen as Matt sang enthusiastically out of tune on stage, the performance complete with jazz hands.

"That might be the worst karaoke footage I've ever seen, my god," said a horrified Piers.

"I bet they're really glad someone caught that on an iPhone!" joked Susanna.

Piers compared Matt's singing to his performance as Health Secretary,

"Hancock and Coffey, the worst double act of all time!" he said.

Narrating the video to his guests on video call, Piers said: "That is the Health Secretary and Thérèse Coffey absolutely destroying one of the great Queen anthems.

"The parallel I would use, in the clip, they both believe they are nailing it, they think they are doing a great job.

"Everybody watching it thinks they are an absolute trainwreck, is that a metaphor for this government?"
