Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid was left visibly stunned as 95-year-old twins revealed their surprising secret to living so long.
Identical siblings Lil and Doris spoke to Susanna and co-host Piers Morgan on Tuesday's show live from Lil's daughter's home in the West Midlands where they both moved to so they could spend lockdown together.
Their live on-air conversation covered a number of topics like what it was like to spend so much time together after living apart for years and what they thought of what was going on in care homes at the moment, but the subject that sparked the biggest reaction was their secret to living so long.
Pointing to Doris, Lil shouted: "Plenty of sex!" Her answer saw Susanna's jaw drop in shock while Piers burst out laughing before he asked: "is that true Doris?!"
Lil then quipped: "I want thrilling not killing!"
Viewers at home were also highly amused by the unexpected answer. One tweeted: "oh my goodness! Lil & Doris are just the tonic we need right now! They were so funny!" and, in firm agreement, another posted: "To laugh out loud in the morning during lockdown is absolutely brilliant!! Please ask Lil and Dorothy to come back on the show. Their spirit of life is brilliant."
