Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid's blunder leaves show in chaos

Good Morning Britain was left in chaos this morning after Susanna Reid made an embarrassing blunder.

While talking about Michael Gove taking Class A drugs in the past Susanna tripped over her words.

She said: "He admitted to using it on several journalists" instead of saying "several occasions"

Susanna burst into fits of laughter and said "I'm so sorry, I don't have insider information I promise."

Susanna tried to recover, but continued to laugh at her blunder, while Piers looked on astonished.

The GMB host continued to apologise and said: "I'm so sorry, that's something else entirely"

Following Susanna's blunder the debate into if Michael Gove should be allowed to carry on being a politician after his admissions went on.

And most people on social media thought Gove should step down.

One said: "He can’t expect to hold other people (such as teachers) to a higher standard than himself ... live by your sword and die by it and all that!"

Another said: "Why should Gove get away with being part of the drug culture."

And a third said: "Gove was unfit for office before the cocaine admissions regardless of what the public think of him now."

*GMB continues at 6am on ITV tomorrow
